Sears Tower! I won't give you up!
Sears Tower was remaned Willils Tower in 2009. To us loyal Chicagoian (or you can call us stuborn or ideologists), it was a big blow; same as when Marshall Fields became Marcy's, which resulted many 'Old' Chicagoian boycotted Macy's and never shopped there since.
To me, Sears Tower is the same way. The Tower was constructed in 1974; named after Sears, Roebuck, and Co., a chain department stores. In 1993, the company sold the Tower and moved to the suburb, Hoffman Estates.

Quit Plurking!
Hastily said good bye to some friends on Plurk and then immediately closed my account because I know if I didn't act quickly, I wouldn't be able to stop myself from fighting back on Plurk.

My first international friend
18 years ago I met a girl in the college dormitory. Her name is Sezgi. I loved her because she was just so exotic to me, a small town girl who just finished 6-year of Catholic high school. Her hair wild and her big round eyes were vivid green. She was like a butterfly; with her bag full of notebooks and textbooks, she flashed her smiles and flitted from table to table to chat with friends in the cafeteria. I was very jealous. It was the first time I left home to live in a big city in a foreign country. I was shy. I could not speak English. I looked at her talking to everyone and energetic smile at ease and wished I could be like her.

What motivated me to study for the university entrance exam
In high school, the motivation for us for study hard for the university entrance exam was the belief that we would get to go to the dance parties and the boys would come to ask for the first dance.
